What I am learning from Megan Thee Stallion.

I have not heard one thing from this Hip Hop star but I see her. I know she comes from Houston, Texas but I see her becoming the “girl next door” in ads ranging from Popeyes, gyms, and Amazon.com. I don’t know her, but I am proud of her.  Not sure who if anyone is coaching her but she is working hard to get those spots.

She’s gorgeous but that ain’t enough.  She is authentic, unapologetically herself, and confident. I respect the hustle. I don’t even have to know what personal struggles she may have but I know it is a challenge just being a African American woman in 2024.  Go sis, go.

I am going to try to be myself and be confident. Going to remain resilient and persevere even though life is not giving me a break right now as I pursue this musical journey.  Like Megan, going to keep on pushing.
